Our Mission:

Vassar Road Baptist Church is a fellowship of Christians that simply seeks to live out the joy of knowing Jesus. We are a local church that is passionate about the Gospel and desires to see it spread throughout Poughkeepsie and the world. 

We believe that Jesus is infinitely worthy of our focus, worship, and adoration. As a Church, we point to Jesus because in Him there is eternal life. Knowing Jesus in this way produces something that nothing else in this universe can - joy. A real, robust, never-ending joy. And this is what Jesus wants for us, a fullness of joy (John 15:11).
